If you want quality brand on your car:
* go with a brand involved in racing just like akrapovic (http://www.akrapovic.com/car-exhaust/products/bmw/)or Remus...
* go with a brand that you can already find on a high end stock car
* do not trust the local mickey mouse brand (unless you are personaly involved in the development and you have the engineering skills to do it)
* do not believe what vendors say because most of them just want to make $
* go to a race track and talk to people (they will tell you who are the local exhaust gurus)

So you're saying RPI isn't one of those "quality" brands?
