hey guys,

i'm looking to get some H&R sport springs for my 2010 528i but i have a few questions. H&R offers two different types of set-ups...one for e60's with self-leveling suspension and one for e60's without self-leveling. what is self-leveling suspension and how can i tell if i have it or not on my car? i also have the sport package with sport suspension. does make a difference too?

thanks in advance guys!

Well, I have yet to see an E60 SEDAN with self-leveling. Others may correct me, but I thought that was just for the Touring (or Sportswagon) version. Your car probably doesn't have self-leveling since you have sports pkg. The only difference, in terms of adding the springs, will be ride height and a slightly stiffer ride. Other than that you should be fine.

Could it be referring to the Active Roll Stabilisation (aka Dynamic Drive)? Just a thought.

You may want to find out what H&R is referring to. If they are referring to the ARS (Active Roll Stabilization) that levels the cars in a turn on the sports models you may need their "Self-Leveling" springs. I would give them a call...
