Selector Lever Replacement

Just had my shifter knob replaced at BMW. The finish seems to be more of a Matte than smooth like my other one. I did a check on RealOEM and came up with these two part numbers. Is there any way to see if they gave me the wrong knob, or are the new knobs just made this way?

Then I googled 25167522366 and it shows on Circle BMW's site, but 25167522365 does not..

Usually, the part numbers are stamped somewhere on the part. You might consider removing the shift knob to see if the number is readable somewhere on it.
