Thumbs up

What actually is DDC?

In the manual it says that you can choose between a standard and sport program.

"... engine responds more spontaneously to accelerator pedal movements..... steering becomes more direct....In addition: with SMG and an automatic transmission...the shifting times are shorter.... "

Further: ".... press the Sport Button....with an automatic transmission: Activating the Dynamic Driving Control activates the Sport Program of the automatic transmission. This makes moving the selector lever from D to M/S unnecessary."

Further under Automatic Transmission with Steptronic:
"...shifting from D to M/S activates the Sport program....is recommended if a performance-oriented driving style is desired.."

???????????????????????

Maybe I?m stupid, but in my 545iA there are no Sport button, and YES you get into Sport by flipping the gear selector and it holds the gears longer ( revving longer ) but is there or should there be different throttle response.
It?s in no way noticeable as in my M5 anyway.

If I recall right there are a sport button in the 645 with automatic transmission.
Maybe thats the one they are reffering to?

Have BMW mixed up the manuals, or what?

I?m confused and I would like the Dynamic Driving Control in my 545 as it says in the manual.

Can anyone please explain to me?
