From looking at Dinan's website I thought that was only with the E39 M5? Their remap did make some changes (torque etc), just no specific gain on HP.

Hey Alex,
About a month ago I had all the Dinan performance upgrades added to my 2005 545i. It added approximately 27+/- hp. I noticed a significant difference in sound as well as performance. The note the exhaust gives is deep and throaty. I would recomend Dinan to any one who is looking for true performance gains.

Like many of you, I own a 545i. I have to say I'm fairly happy with the car, but I wouldn't mind having a few extra horsepower. What would you recommend to obtain a net gain of at least 30hp? Any experiences and recommendations will be welcome.
Regards,
Alex

I already had the sport muffler and just added the Dinan high flow cold air intake. I have kicked it in the butt a few times and WOW! Yes, you can feel it. I'm thinking I am at 347 hp now.

Uh, that's on a turbo car - no? Remapping a turbo car (aka increasing the boost) can do wonders. It won't help a NA car much however.
