i am thinkin of tinting my silver grey 530d sport

can anyone suggest where i can get this done, can the work be carried out by bmw.

also what level of tinting should i go for. i need it for the purpose of style and for reducing heat build up

oh and finally anyone know the costs involved

BMW won't do it.... you get a tint shop or mobile tinting company to do the work.

Where do you live? This will make a difference as to what level of tint is legal.

For example, I live in Florida, USA.... and we have very loose laws with regard to tint darkness. I have my car tinted at 20% on the rear and sides. 20% is illegal, but its close enough to a legal level that a cop can't tell just by looking at it.... so I don't need to worry.

Many US states won't allow tint darker than 35%.

and make sure it doesn't violate your lease in any way..

I believe most leases say that it has to be removed before you turn it back in, which can be an issue if its not done right.

I've never heard of a Lease requiring tint to be removed.
