My Ride: '06 535d M-Sport Individual
Deep Green Metallic
19" Style 172 wheels
Individual Champagne leather
Media Pack
Visibility pack
Sunroof
Privacy glass
Taken the plunge today and ordered some ACS goodies for my 535d M-Sport from my local BMW main dealer.
To complete the ACS look and to go with my already fitted "magic black" 20" Type IV wheels Ive ordered:-
Front bumper elements (front splitters)
Rear Diffuser
Roof Spoiler
Rear Trunk Spoiler
Sport Mirrors
The best bit is that a few days ago the parts guy gave me a print out from the BMW system which shows both the recommended retail price and the profit margin available to the dealer!...Oops!
Needless to say, now near the end of the month where every sale counts, the initial and somewhat generous 10% discount offered has now been re-nogotiated to nearly 25%.
Bargain, and makes the likes of Mstyle and other so called discount retailers look expensive
I'll obvioulsy post some pickies up once fitted but the main point Im trying to make here is that if you choose the right time in the month to buy, and know what the dealer is making, there's some significant savings to be made even from main stealers.

Picked everything up from the stealer however I dont think the parts manager was impressed at the discount Id been given by one of his staff and its all now with my body shop guy being sprayed.
I must say I was impressed with the quality of the raw parts and the fact that they even supply the glue to fit them.
Fitting should hopefully be end of next week.
Watch this space....

"however I dont think the parts manager was impressed at the discount Id been given by one of his staff"
At my dealership, my SA offered to use his discount at the parts dept for things I wanted to buy (of course I didn't say no), saved me hundreds. A long standing relationship has it's benefits.
