I haven't, but there was a member last year went with a unique blue that he had his car painted in. I liked it a lot. Maybe search this forum and you will find it. He had lots of pictures as well posted.

I found it....

Default Santorini Blue E60

I guess I'll be the Santorini Blue guinnea pig. Its a little darker in real life than how it looks in most pictures its like a very shiny crayon. I love Valencia Orange but with my interior being cinnamon color I think it would not have good contrast.
I also love Imola Red but there's one modded Imola Red M5 in my town so I kept searching.

I think I would only do lime green if it was an M5. My car is already on the shop so I'll post pics later on. Here's my car before: (phone pics)

Having the choice to respray our cars any color we like is a good option, so with that, it's your choice to mod the car whatever and how ever you like it...but do think hard on a color before deciding to go with it. How will this color look to me in a few months or few years. Especially if you daily drive your car, will it be a pleasure to look at or an eye sore?

The only concern I would have in repainting the entire car for a color change is all the work involved getting to all of the areas where the old paint is such as inner doors, trunk and engine compartment would be an absolute nightmare. If you don't min me asking what is the price range on this and are they removing doors etc?

Well you obviously have to strip the car down completely to do it right (doors and door panels, bumpers, trunk, headlights, taillights, sidekirts etc) I'm only leaving the engine compartment black and also the roof. Everything else is going blue. Price is relative on the shop and where you live. I'm friends with the shop's owner so I stripped the car myself so that's less work for them.

No doubt about stripping it down, thats why I mentioned that. You would be suprised though how many people out there go for a color change and do not want to do this. Ah, just close the doors and spray it... Good for you though as I am sure it will look nice with the effort you put in it.
