I just put my 20's and when i got like over a bump i will just get a "slight" rub. I have the sports package, but am planning on lowering the car with H&R'S and just want to see if anyone can give me advice if it will be a constant rubbing or what not.. Thanks!

Run a search for 20s. I am pretty sure that 20s without sports package is not a problem. 20's with a sports package gives a "slight" rubbing effect like you are experiencing. I guess time will tell if will be detrimental. Maybe stifer springs would help. I suspect lowering the car without somehow carving out the wheel wells will only make matters worse.

Silver, what size tires do you have? I don't think you have the ultimate low profile tires like some people on this board do. If so, that might be the reason you're experiencing slight rubs.

I have 245/35/20front, and 275/30/20rear. I have seen some with 295/25rear, and 25 profile front and they say they dont rub. Mine just has a slight touch when it goes over a "rounded" bump. Maybe the H&R springs are stiffer and even the car is lower it wont have that "jump".

I figured that maybe stiffer springs would help too! In miami they "bend" the wheel weld with a special machine and also use a heat gun so the paint doesnt chip. Also i saw someone with Hres and "25" profile on their 20's and they get n rub and its lowered too.. I Might Look into it once i Put the H&R'S.. Ill keep you guys posted.

I just got done fixing my rubbing problems. I am running 245/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear. I had the fenders rolled. They are about 99% rub free. Are you running HRE's?? If so, I am amazed that they rub. What tire brand are you running??

Where in Miami are you from? And I haven't searched yet but do you have any good wheel shops you can tell me? I live in South Beach, 7th
Street and Washington.
