Just took delivery of my first e60 the other day- '09 535i manual. It's been a riot so far. Car is super clean, but does have a few things i'd like to fix up to get it as close to 10/10 as possible.

1. One section of the seal on the rear-most back door glass is dried out and crumbling. looks like it needs to be scraped out and replaced. It looks like a seal, but could be caulk? not sure. See pics.
2. The lower windshield seal piece is also dried out and crumbling where it meets the glass. looks like you'd just remove the wipers (easy), pop a few fasteners, and it would come right out. but not sure on that. Has anyone ever replaced this? part #? (again, see pics)

I've replaced front and back. Easy fixes -- 20 min each. But carefully clean out the channels completely -- use a brush and vacuum to get it all out.

Neither is critical to sealing the edges of the front or rear window, but should be in place, of course.

Never done the quarter window, though
