Just wondering if the RPI scoop (ram air induction kit w\filter) and the AFE Stage 2 cold intake system can be installed at the same time. This is for a 2006 525i. If you can, would I need the whole RPI induction kit or just the scoop?

Thanks,

Balbs

it would be counterproductive...

any open/cone intake set-up leads to heat soak/performance due to the hot air of the engine bay...stick with the scoop + stock box

its possible but its proven that the AFE intake will cause a reduction in power due to heat soak. best setup would be the ram air scoop paired with an aftermarket filter with BMC. we have the scoops in stock

LOL! I just may do that. The RPI scoop is easier to sneak passed the wife than a body kit Nerweezy I'm still working on her with it. "Cost too much...etc...etc...).

Do you guys have a link to a DIY for installing the RPI scoops on an E60?

Thanks,

Balbs
