I bought an RPI scoop from another member on this board who used them on his 2008 550i. He said it would fit any E60.
When I start to install it, it does not fit. Basically it doesn't go in smoothly and seems to be blocked by the metal bar that goes across and part of the bumper.

Are these scoops the same across the board? Can someone point me to an RPI Scoop install for the 535i specifically? I can't seem t see any proper pictures of these scoops from any vendors who sold them since they all use the same blardy templated pictures for any RPI Scoop basically.

the scoop for the 550 is a different design. the scoop for the 525, 530, 528, and 545 are the same. for the 550, the arm is bent specifically in a sort of U-shape opening to the right.

That's how it was :-)

I bend them as needed and got it shoved in there.
Now I am worried if the screws will ever get loose?
The double sided tape it came with was pretty much useless after it was taken off by the previous owner

Did u have any issues with the scoop? Did u just bend the mounting arm and then It's basically the same part?

With proper install, it should be pretty solidly bolted down.
