You can ship it to us and we will ship it back overnight

how is this done? You remove a chip, reprogram it, and my car is magically +20 hp?

you will have to uninstall the ecu (will not be able to drive your e60 for the time the ecu is not there), then ship it to us. we will then have your ecu reprogrammed, and then ship it back. from there, its install and enjoy

Hi from South Florida. My first posting ever...Is there still a dyno run for the 545 ECU remap in the works for mid-January?

Hi, I'm in the UK and would consider this for my 545, but I don't think I would take the chance on shipping my ECU and waiting for its return before I could use my car again. I've had some bad experiences of shipping companies and wouldn't trust they wouldn't lose it and leave my car dead!

Would you consider doing things "the other way round"? Ie ship an updated ECU and have the old one shipped back to you? You could make sure people return their orignal ECU by charging them and refunding upon safe return of the original ECU?

Is that practical, or are there so many variaitions to make that impossible?

Thanks

Alan

The ECU would need to be recoded to the car using a BMW programmer.

So If the dealership overwrites the ecu remap... is their warranty to get it back? Or thats it, your hooped $500?

For the M5, the first reflash after dealer nukes your software is free. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc incur a small charge. I would assume these ones are the same.

Reflashes apply only to the original purchaser of the tune. If the car is sold, the reflash policy does not apply. PC charges $100 per reflash or update. IF your ecu is wipe by the dealership, PC will flash the tune back on for $100 (it takes time to do it so at $100, its still a bargain). For those who purchase the tunes from us, we pay for the first reflash after the original tune.

Well this is all interesting.

What is status on the 550i tune? I have a 2007 550i and, again, this is interesting.

Of the HP gain listed (I am going by memory...18 to 21 hp or so) what is the scoop/air filter contribution vs. the $500 remap?

thx
