Really fast car but slow to post.
They all called me "slowpoke" for a reason .

Especially, Tony ECF, he has all right in the world to call me "slow"

All I ever wanted was to see you put out a dyno to backup those numbers people are spending hundreds of dollars on. I would love to come down but I am in ohio. Is it really that hard to get a hold of a 330i or 530i or 545/550. It sounds like you have so many people come dyno there. Even if they had aftermarket parts as long as you did a before and after-you could guage a rough idea. Something to reassure people that they are not getting ripped goes a long way which is what your success has been had with your great exhaust and scoop.

No bashing or arguing but simply wanted your opinion since you do not seem to agree based on what I have read-unless I misread. Adding the scoop and exhaust to me requires no tuning. I gave the example of cold weather increasing O2 signifignatly and our cars adapting quickly and well to that by adding more fuel and more power is seen in cold weather. Same with exhaust, if there is more exhaust flow then the sensors read all that and will adapt. I am just not seeing how these things get optimized by a tune?

The only real thing that I know works for a tune in an NA car that is obviously not de-tuned, is adjusting spark timing for engines that you add race gas/high octane or change the compression of the engine. That is important and needs a tune to have either of those work. You can also lean out the mixture since auto makers obviously play it on the safe side by having a less lean mixture for longevity and safety but this is not great for longevity so to me is not a real option for the few hp you gain.

Smoothing out a torque curve, increasing torque and increasing hp is a extremely dificult job with fully maximized NA engines from bmw. I just think it is more reasonable to expect a 5-10 hp gain with these tunes and more like a 5hp gain for the I6's. I guess I just want your take on these issues I bring up for my own knowledge and for those forum members who are thinkin about investing their dough in this. Nobody these days can afford to throw money away and I would hate to see anyone do that. I am just asking and recomending that if you are standing by a product-you make sure the claims are legit.

Oh, I'm sorry John. You landed on bankrupt, no money to buy a vowel and you forfeit your turn.

Gene, you're turn to spin.
