My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
What, no one can answer my simple question? All to worried about selling your lights and what not. what the hell, this site is going down the drain and FAST!

The CDV is a good mod, but it has nothing to do with throttle response, only clutch engagement.
The sprintbooster and the Dinan software will cure the throttle response issues mentioned in the OP, and the intake will increase power and give a bit of intake roar to go along with the RPI exhaust roar!

I hated the sprintbooster on my car. I bought it with it on it and took it off for kicks and couldn't be happier. Driving off in first, especially with the stupid clutch delay valve in, made starting from a stop difficult and I felt like a 6-speed noob. Seems like everyone else is happy with it though so...?

Zeckhausen racing offers a drilled clutch delay valve so you have the benefits of not having one on but if you take your car in for maintenance/repairs, it still looks stock so no questions will be asked. If you are out of warranty, you can just take it off.

CDV = clutch delay valve. It's a restrictor that delays the engagement of the clutch so no matter how fast you lift your foot off of the clutch, it engages at a slow/constant rate. To put it simply, it's added so manual transmission noobs don't dump the clutch at high RPMs and burn out the clutch. Why these are installed (even on the M3) from the factory? The question remains to this day...

You could also say that how you used the word "manual" in that statement is a pun. You don't have a "manual" (aka instructions) so that explains your ignorance.
