Could it be the clamp? That is the only thing I can really think of that would cause resonance.

umm droning and resonance are completely different from what I understand

Pipes have resonant frequencies and at certain RPM's these resonant frequencies are attained causing droning.
I am pretty sure that's how it works but please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd say you should double check the install first. Make sure there are no leaks, and that everything is fitting together correctly.

The clamp on the pipes is pretty tight on there. A friend suggested putting a strip of rubbers in-between the clamp and pipe. Would this maybe solve the problem or would the rubber melt?
