Is there anyone in San Diego with an RPI exhaust on their 530i? I'm just curious to know how it sounds in person. YouTube videos are great but arent the same!

Totally agree. I have had my RPI on my 530 for about 3 weeks now and love it. It is a huge difference in sound quality over the Magnaflow I had. Much less raspy, more exotic and defined. Also gained HP and torque and it was noticeable considering I LOST low end torque installing the Magnablow.

what is needed to install the rpi exhaust?

I just want something that will allow my car to breath better and give it some more high end power.

Is this a slip on system or do I need to cut and weld?

The stock exhaust needs to be cut off, but the rpi is a simple bolt on using a clamp. No welding needed.

Just Cut
and then use the included clamp to clamp it on and you are done
