My Ride: 2004 BMW 545i Silver,Gray, Metallic. Blk Dakota leather. Nav. Heads up disply. PDC. Pro logic 7 sound. 35% tint. Mods. MTECH body kit. OEM trunk finisher and M5 spoiler.OEM 166 wheels. Blk and wht CF Roundels. Orion V2 AEs. LCI taillights with Ricky effect. LED interior lights. LED license plate light. HID fogs. Smoked LED side markers. White cluster mod. Coding. RPI scoop & BMC filter. Gloss black OEM grills.CF interior trim. B&B exhaust.

I'm looking for someone with a RPI exhaust on a 5 series in the Ventura Co. area. Preferably on a 545i. I am in Thousand Oaks, Ca and considering buying a RPI but like to hear it live first. Can anyone help?

I hear there are bi-weekly meets in Chino Hills or someplace there, you should go there. I miss living in Orange County, lived there for all my schooling till I did my Masters and moved to Virginia

But dude, RPI is a safe bet, everyone likes it (atleast on the V8's)I dont see y someone would buy it and regret it but anyways.

Thanks for the the info. I'm almost ready to make the purchase. I'm just a litte conserned it will be too loud.

Give me a call, I just had mine installed on my 2004 545. I love it and I'm not a big fan of over the top sound (in these cars). With the windows up, crusing around 70-80 you can barely hear anything. When you roll off the throttle it grumbles a little. Up to 2k it is throaty, especially with the windows down and no acceleration. Above 2 the sound gets "higher" as expected with higher RPM's.
