I used urethane silicone from Home Depot. This thing is not coming off!!! It was overkill but I really didn't want this thing flying off on the highway.
I've read good stuff about what BMW sells, Betalink, but I'm not sure how easily removable it is.

I used betalink on my rear spoiler, super messy and strong as cement. My roof spoiler held for almost a year and is now slowly starting to lift up around the edges. I don't think I will use betalink on the roof spoiler unless I have a friend help, if it slides cleanup is a beesh.

3M double sided tape here. Two years, through the cold winters, no problems.
I put two layers to get more flexibility to the attachment.

Yeah I'll probably use 3M again for my roof spoiler, maybe I'll try two layers this time around and see if it works better.

What do you guys mean by 2 layers? One on top of the other or lay them side by side?

I used 3m on my car, and many others, and have yet had one come off. Make sure both the surfaces are super clean, and use the adhesive promoter on the underside of the spoiler.
