19 y/o no lip with some type of concavity. 20 y/o I'm a fan of both no lip and lip....concavity is also a plus in my book...
Gene, he's asking about wheels, not strippers. Take it to the lounge, dude.

not really. it depends on how wide the tire is in relation to rim width.

curbing can happen no matter what size in wheel or offset.....

How about stepped lip on front right, straight deep lip on the right rear, concaved no lip on front left and straight flat face no lip on rear left?

so you're saying a tire that is wider than the rim is as prone to damage as a narrow stretched tire on a rim?

I believe he was referring to curbing/rash...not pot holes and bends...

you replied to this post:

seems to be some confusion here...
i was referring to curbing.
every wheel made has a lip over the tire bead, which is prone to curbing. a wheel with a step lip doesnt change the lip over the tire bead.
what i was getting at, its the tire size in relation to rim width which determines how easy you can curb a wheel.
if you put a wide tire on a narrow rim, the tire will hit the curb before the rim. likewise, if you put a narrow tire on a wide rim, the rim will contact the curb first.
