Drive a lil further and go to Mag masters in Santa Ana, great price, good work and fast service.

you could try some local tire shops. i know some will take the wheel and ship it out for one day to be repaired, then have it back the next day looking good as new. when i had mine repaired, i paid 150 per wheel.

Mag Masters has smoothed and polished mine a couple times!! They can pull the tire off and fix the wheel then remount the tire if it has to.

I've used son tran
http://autopia.org/forum/southwest-usa/974...light=curb+rash

I hit a pothole on my rims and it took a chunk out of it. Stressed out of my mind, I called Son, he came out, filled it, air brushed to match, and the only trace is a missing piece of rubber from my tire. He did amazing work and it was very reasonable..

I'm calling him out again as I hit another curb a few weeks ago But now I don't stress.

Here's some pics. best part is it's all mobile. although next time I'll wait a few hours before driving as these damn things have so much brake dust I should have probably let the paint dry a bit more before driving again. He took care of my 22" chromed lipped rims on my Q7 as well. Notice the e4 lettering in the rubber in the tire on the last 2 pics. That's where the chunk came out of the rim, before and after is amazing, you can see the rubber piece gouged, but the rim is perfect.
Oh, his number is 714-742-6855

Thanks there's lots of places i have to call tomorrow and i'll keep this updated but i dont' know as far as whats the differences with mobile work and the work where you take it to a shop and they remove your tires and redo your entire rims, whats better? Their about the same price but mobile work is faster and the shop work takes time, maybe quality of work the shop might have a lasting and mobile work not sure.
