Remove the resonator. Thats what I did with mine, and I pass the inspections with no issues.

I have mine without the resonator, got a bit louder. Also, one of the reasons why I wanna sell my exhaust.
It takes a new exhaust at least 1K miles to open up all the way (and even after that it gets louder as miles increase).
These exahausts were designed to give an understated beasty feel. Same is with my Eisenmann Race. Removing resonators only makes it one step close to being rice.

So after telling the mechanic to remove the two resanators in the front, I find out their my secondary cats and I only have one square resanator in the middle of the car. We had a look at the remus muffler and the way it was designed. We saw that it is pretty much striaght through and does not seen to restrict the flow at all. (Well obviously a little but not alot) I gotz two choices now. Change the muffler or remove the resanator. They wanted around $120CDn which is prolly like $500USD.lol j/k Just to cut it off and put a y pipe in its place. The car is getting the quad diffuser painted and will post a write up soon of my mods that I have done (those of you waiting for my measurments for the lowering springs are gooing to have to wait)
