Thats true. Had I known that before I would never have bought the switch panel. I normally want to fold my mirrors only when I am outside the car and thats when I have the key in my hand. Also with the key fob the moment you unlock the car the mirrors unfold. So you can never drive with the mirrors folded.

Thanks for all the responses.

Now I just need to get some folding mirrors with the same wiring as my car.

BLooD, since I couldn't plan a journey to see your other bits we discussed earlier, I thought it will be quicker to take a plunge and bought myself a nice K+DCAN cable (everyone recommended that) and it works with my car. I have managed to change few options on my car successfully and yes it works

I want passenger side auto-dip so reading everywhere on the forum looks like SA430 needs to go in VO, can I put SA430 in my car which doesn't have auto-folding mechanism, would this make mirror auto-dip upon reverse? If yes then can what all modules will need this VO, CAS and LMA? or just CAS?

SA430 EXT: mirrors folding / dimming has nothing to do with the passenger mirror curb function. I can not remember what year your car is but if it`s from sept/2005 then look in the KGM modul for ASP_BORDSTEIN.
If it`s before sept/2005 then look in TMFT and TBFT for KERBING, i have not had any success getting it to work on earlier cars. VO adaptations must be done in both the CAS and LMA.

Mike, do you mean you haven't been able to do it on pre Sept/2005 cars? I provided the coding info to Rizbel recently, and he was able to get it to work on his 2004.
