You're right. No one on the forum has proclaimed that they have the new HDD based Navigation Professional system on their car yet. However, there are a few that have the new i-Drive controller and it looks like the system will make its appearance in most markets sooner than expected.

I recall a member in the U.K. that has the new i-Drive controller in his MY 2009 E61 Touring. I'll try to find the thread and post the link.

Can't believe that these units are already on eBay.

Guys, has anyone tried getting more information about this? Being able to replace current DVD-based navigation system by the HDD-based one would be cool and I personally would consider it even if it was quite expensive.
