The spoiler is held on with double-sided tape. So technically.... yes... it can be transferred to another E60.

But removing the tape from the car and spoiler is a bitch. The adhesive is very sticky, and doesn't come off easy. I know because I removed my trunklid finisher and put it back on with fresh tape once already.

I added the M5 lip spoiler and trunklid finisher a long time ago. Install was simple, I did both myself. They just use tape.
I like this look a lot. Did you order it from BMW parts department? Apox. Cost? What is the trunklid finisher?

What is the trunklid finisher?

The trunklid finisher is a piece which only comes with the M5. It is a license plate holder which hides the keyhole on the trunklid.

Here is a pic of the finisher before I installed it.

It is held in place by double-sided tape.

Here is the car before the finisher.

Here is it, after.

Personally, I just prefer the look of the euro plate finisher. I feel like it makes the car look wider, and therefore more sporty. The finisher adds some mass to the trunklid, also... so the trunk does not open with as much force.... and is easier to close. And the lines are cleaner with the keyhole hidden.... but this also means I can't lock the trunk when valet parking. But this is not a concern because I have a 2005 model, which means I have no valet key (except that stupid plastic thing, which we are told not to use).

Thanks for the info! I agree, both pieces really clean up the lines and make the e60 sportier.

I'm not sure it's the same in the UK, as i had a 535D M-Sport & an M5 (both Black & looked lush) pass me together on the M40 today (they must have been playing) & both looked exactly the same as regards the boot (trunk) lid. I could not see any difference, so either the M5 rear is different in the UK of the M-Sport has the same boot lid as the M5 over here.

As a side, apart form the quad zorst exits, the boot M5 badge & the front wing grilles, both cars looked identical on the move, so not much visually between the M5 & M-Sport (except under the hood).
