Hello, I dont wanna open new topic so Im writing here.

Wanted to ask you, i did everything byw00t100 diy and all went pretty well. I coded $430 to CAS and LMA and made some coding in KGM. At the end it looks like it worked but only passenger mirror is folding. I can set the mirror possition on both mirrors so apparently lin bus is wired well. Also passenger mirror dips when reverse co the coding was done well i guess.

1. So do you think the motor is bad in drivers mirror?
2. And what about the mirrors leds? Why they dont work?

You need to add $563 to get the lights to work if your car isn't equipped with light package.

Already did it and it worked - actually first time i added $536 - which was wrong so after adding the right $563 - extended light package it worked and it looks awesome. Thx

Added the $563 to my VO on my 2008 535xi after retrofitting the mirrors with the puddle lamps, but it did not turn on the lights. Everything else on the mirrors work, EC Dimming, Autofold, Power Mirror, and passenger mirror curbing on reverse.

Is there anything else I need to do in NCSExpert after adding $563 to the VO?

Hi, am I only one whos donor mirrors hqs 5 wire plug (red,brown,yellow,white,green) and 2 wire plug(purple/black).

cant find any guide which is specific to mine so I dont want to try all random guides. Also my original mirrors had 4 wire plug. New window controller also has 4 plug slot.

Qs much as I understand my car has KGM module but donor mirrors door control modules. Can I retrofit them?

Thank you for this guide. It helped a lot. It was a lot easier for me since my original mirrors were 3 wire kind with memory. I just swapped out the mirrors and coded the VO with extended lights and it worked like a charm.
The only issue I am having is this -
one press unlock opens the mirrors. but one press lock does not close the mirrors. I have to hold the lock button to close it. The window controller is also installed and works well.

Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

sorry for bringing back the topic, but could someone who has successfully done the retrofit share some pictures for the wiring? I'm a bit lost on how should be done. My car originally has 4wires, but the new mirrors have 3.
