Hello fellow people!

I got a chance to buy full option mirrors (non m5).

I would like to put them on my car, but i dont know if they will work? Do i need anything alse to complete the retrofit?!

I also have a interest change to mirrors with folding and auto dimming. Now I have only heating and memory.

At least you need new control panel with folding switch to driver door.

Mirror control system was changed 9/2005, when body gateway module was introduced. Mirrors and your car has to match. Both has to be pre or post 09/2005.

BUT, BUT... wiring changes? coding at dealer? Better take a look at numerous post about retrofitting M5 mirrors. Many has already studied this subject.

I just checked retrofit options from TIS and Yes: Mirror package was listed in the retrofit options list. That means that successful retrofit always requires coding at dealer.
