Well, he'd see a camera on a tripod and then I'd have to explain to him that I'm another one of those obsessive BMW fanboi fanatics and I'm making a video to show my e-friends. After a brief pause of complete disgust on his part, I'm sure he'd proceed to write me a fat ticket.

So you just replaced the resonator w/ straight pipes?
Need to do that to my car too. My Magnaflow sounds too subtle. Need some more rumble

Yea, cost me $80 to remove it. They installed a Y pipe in its place so it was a pretty straight-forward job. The difference is 30lbs less (resonator was pretty heavy) and free flowing air. I did notice a top end gain in horsepower. Besides that, the sound is way better.
