I will eventually do the exterior mods, but I want to focus on performance first - and on that note:

Has anyone upgraded their ECU? If so where did you find the chip/programmer?

Also, just curious - in another thread someone detailed an M5 front brake upgrade, how much was this?

We've worked with Active for our software upgrades. They make solid gains for an NA vehicle and is worth it if you have an intake and exhaust to take advantage of the increased air flow. It does require that you remove the ECU to send in to them but is something you can have done in a few days with overnight shipping.

Thanks Gene,
Added myself to the SoCal group. I will check out the ECU tuning from RPI, just not sure I want to have to take out my ECU and be without my car for a few days. (Have to check my vacation time)

I don't thing their flash takes more than a few hours...give them a call....taking your ecu out for a flash usually requires some type of shipping out of state..

here's their website also...
