Replacing 2010 multi-contour seat headrest with 2007 variation

I greatly prefer 2007 comfort seat headrests with a little pillow in front to the ones that are on my 2010. Does anyone know if a switch can be easily done?
It seems that 2007 headrests are only $250 a piece. If I knew that these are compatible I would gladly replace my current headrest with 2007 style. Also, is it DIY job? I am sure no BMW dealer would be willing to do it for liability concerns.
