My Ride: 2004 525i - stock with BMW base rack, Yakima ski rack attachment
Hello All,
I bought a used roof rack for my 2004 525i off of ebay. Unfortunately it is missing the rubber pad that goes between the rack and the body. I have contact my local dealer and they said they could not find the part. Anybody know where I could get parts for this rack, or know who makes the rack for bmw?

It sucks, but that seems like the only solution. I have an extra rack with no rubbers either.

I had the same problem. I ended up buying a new rack because the dealer does not supply that, nor does Thule. =/

you guys are brave... nothing goes on my roof!
In all seriousness, I've had the BMW rack for two seasons and I've no problems with it at all. Its OEM so its no problem.

Its hard to explain, but i'll try to take a picture whne i get a chance. Once you see the rubber, you'll understand how hard it is.
