My Ride: 2006 Monaco Blue 530i - Sprt, prem, cld weather, nav, logic 7
2004 Topaz Blue 330ci - Grey interior, prem, sprt, cld weather, nav, m rims
2006 X5 - Prem, sprt, servotronic, prem snd, panorama roof.
2002 (i know this doesn;t count) IS300 - suede/leather combo, kit, prem, sport
So I accidentally nicked the lower driver side area of the front bumper of my 06 530i. The car is Monaco Blue and the scratches to me are hideous and I want to replace the front bumper now. My question is two fold. First, would the e60 M5 bumper fit without major modification? My plan is to buy the replacement bumper on the open market and then bring it to BMW body shop to paint and install, because obviously I can get it for less than they would charge me. Or should I just stick with standard replacement bumper? Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations?

M5 bumper will not fit standard fenders, it needs the M5 fenders to line up correctly. Buying an M-tech bumper will work as its designed for the standard fenders! Good Luck!

Thanks for the feedback. I take it you mean the M-Technik front bumper will fit my 530i correct? Any suggestions on who to purchase from/good experience with?

Do they sell the M-Tech front bumper as a stand alone piece? Without buying the whole kit? Already painted? Just trying to minimize what the body shop can charge me for.
