I have both.
Had Remus for about a year and really liked the deep growl at low RPM then brought the car in recently for installation of Quaife LSD. The owner of "At Speed MotorSport" had a cancellation of Dinan exhaust so he gave me a great deal (30% off).
My impression: both sound very similar overall, subtly aggressive but not as loud as RPI. If I have to do it over again then Remus is a better value unless I get a great deal on Dinan.
By the way, I will put my Remus exhaust on sale under "Private Member Classified".

I love my Dinan exhaust. From what I've read, it's not as loud as RPI which I'm very much ok with, but you'll definitely hear a growl from the Dinan exhaust.
Whichever you choose, I don't think you'll be disappointed. It just comes down to your personal taste for sure.

what is the average cost for purchase and installation of an aftermarket exhaust? Anyone can provide a list of the different options?

If you can grab his, it would definately be the best deal out there!
Otherwise let us know, they're in stock

Does anything need to be done, as far as computer reprogramming or any adjustments after putting one of these exhaust systems on? I have a 2005 545i and am thinking about a direct replacement.
Thanks.
Thanks.
IMO a nice exhaust completely changes the character of the E60, especialy the V8.
