dammit.....you guys have it lucky in FL....in Boston its mandatory to have a front license plate....and I've been caught many times although I have V1. Espescially on nice sunny days...teh cops would stand on the side of the road and use radar and v1 does not work at all...it just shows that uve been hit and the next thing u know its the cop car right on your butt....

The V1 works if there are other cars around that they are shooting radar at. IF you're the only car there is no radar in the area to set off the v1 untill the pop you.

Well in the US we have the plates drilled in already.....and the holes are a pain in the a$$. Therefore we need bumper plugs to cover them up. Hmmm....an alternative to not getting caught by cops might be to put the plates with BMW logos on instead of license plates. The reason cops need you to have plates in front is so that they can get more accurate reading of your speed from their radar gun. Heard this one from a cop in Boston...after he pulled me over. :'(

The cars are delivered to dealer without holes.? They drill them.? If u are lucky enough to be in a state that does not required a front plate by law, then you can arrange BEFORE hand for them not to drill holes.? Same have even managed to talk dealers into not drilling in states where front plate is required, but it is risky, obviously.? But is all has to be worked before delivery.

That is all.
Now bask in the glory that is BMW without lame-ass front plates.
