I had the titanium silver color and wondering whether it is a good idea to get the RED/SMOKE led tail lights or keep it to the OEM look for the CLEAR/SMOKE led tail lights?

These are my O.E.M. lights on my 2008 550i I took the factory clear lights and smoked them myself and re-clear coated the whole head light so you cannot feel the difference and it gives a better smoke color then just buying the smoked lens.

Those look great. On a related note, has anyone used a tinting film for their taillights? how does that work? I have thought about getting the lightest smoke tint film for my tails for my silver car, but wondered how long it would last and/or how it would look. Thx all.

I like the smoke look. You can set apart from all the other LCI's

with your color, id smoke them if i had the tint, shadowline trim, and maybe dark-ish colored wheels to match. but that's just me.

Looks good. Do you have a picture with whole rear car showing?
