Has anyone seen this? it looks like it goes over the stock bumper by modifying it.

Yes it does. You have to cut your bumper. Not good material either. I sent it back and got a OEM msport bumper that's on the 550i from rockauto.com. I have a 07 550i that's a non sport model so I'm getting the bumpers as I find good deals but when I get ready to quad my exhaust I'm going with a Haman quad diffuser but you have to have the same oem rear bumper that's on the 08-2010 msport bumper for the diffuser to fit

if your looking for something more affordable id say go for this m5 style rear bumper. Unfortunately its made from the lovely duraflex material, but at $122.40 USD you cant go wrong

I really don't know what wrong with duraflex, my neighbor has that M5 duraflex rear and I wouldn't of known if he didn't tell me. I was gonna go with that RDS quad bumper but I didn't want to cut my bumper so I got a msport thats on the e60 550i from rockauto.com it has a single side diffuser and when I get ready to quad my exhaust I'll pull it and add a quad diffuser. But anyway it's all about your vision for your car. Show some pics when your done.

Duraflex uses a cheaper material than OEM. There's nothing wrong with it, its just flimser than OEM and a different material than the rest of your car. If you have OCD then Duraflex is probably not the material for you. If you want a clean look, then OEM is the way to go. Check out rockauto or look for a part out.

I always prefer oem over anything else when the price is right.
I'm planning on doing a dual exhaust with quad tips, that's why I'm looking for bumper options.
I've seen some cut another opening on their regular bumper and it does not look too bad.
