I have a 2007 550i non m sport model. My question is will a 07 550i m sport rear bumper fit my car or do I have to go with a aftermarket (m sport/mtech tech) rear bumper. Asking bc I want to go with the Hamann quad diffuser and I've been told that diffuser will not fit the aftermarket
M sport/M tech type rear bumpers without alot of fabrication and still no guarantee of fitment. So i would have to go with BMW'S 550 msport rear. Can someone one chime in so I'm not wasting money or shop time..

go to BMW Parts Catalog enter the last of your VIN look for body parts and model versions

 

you can get the 07 msport bumper if you can find it, but you will also need to get a bunch of brackets for the retrofit. as far as i know, the pre-lci bumper is no longer produced and you may not be able to get a hold of it. you might be able to go the trinity autosport route and get the m5tech bumper.

 

Oh yes I know I can get the aftermarket. m tech beer from unitza or trinity ect..... but they both are telling that the Hamann rear quad diffuser won't fit well that what trinity told and I would need a OEM mtech bumper. Rockauto.com has them but I need to make sure the OEM mtech sport rear will fit my car.
