I'm in the middle of adding the xCarLink Video Source module.

My car came with the factory rear Aux input. I need to splice it since I don't really want a 3.5 mm sticking outta it for the video source module. Is there a spot where I can splice it somewhere up front so I don't have to run a wire from all the way in the back to my video source module in the glove? I like keeping things clean.

Thanks for your help guys!

I did. I just ran a wire under the center console to the rear aux. I opened up the back console pulled out the aux, plugged in my media interface to it and shoved it all behind the rear console. I replaced the hole it created with a BLOCK OFF PLATE which I ordered from BMW. Works like a charm. Check out my post.

Ah ok, so you didn't actually tap into it, just plugged straight into the actual socket using a 3.5mm jack?

Exactly. I just used the media players other input as a secondary aux.
