This one is for ya VT! Come back to the other side!

Remuse, do you know a) prices for catalyst+headers ? b) do they need a remap or something ? Or it is enough to install them and then you can come back home w/o software mods ?

Thanks a lot!
Bye!

ummm R54 motor conversion cost $28,700 MSRP? Not worth the price I think.... Might as well sell your car + use the R54 money to buy a used M5. Hmmm V-10 500 HP, now that's what i'm talkin about...

Hi AlexFW,

a. There is a group buy for the RDSport headers and cats here: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=44825
b. In speaking with the RDSport, with their new modified headers and cats remap is not necessary.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I bet the R54 has more and more torque than the V10 .
Most of all, it weighs like 545i, not like M5 (= -150 Kg)

Ah, wow!
No iDrive flashings or something else ?
Good!

Yes, I have another one : what about new camshafts ?
How many HP the car would gain ?
Better, *where*, from 1000 to 7400 rpm the would engine gain ?
Would it lose torque at lows ?
Any problem with everyday use ?
I opened a thread here : http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=44831
that nobody cared because I wasn't talking about a grill .

Bye, thank you!

Go for it Henry. It'll cost some but it's all about individuality....
