I agree. Drilled and slotted are for straight style & fashion.

Just wanted to offer an update to anyone interested. The rotors/pads are performing A LOT better than when i previously commented. After about 600 miles you can really feel the "bite". Now that being said, they will never be as optimum as OEM braking power. The hawks are not ceramic or at least are not completely ceramic, which is what allow them to offer such little brake dust (which i think is AWESOME). The downside to this is they will not have the exact same performance of OEM pads. If i had to put a percentage on the stopping power, IN MY OWN OPINION, i would say im at 95% of factory stopping performance. Which in my opinion is WELL worth such little brake dust. I havent cleaned my wheels in two weeks and they still have a shine. Previously with OEM pads my rims would be covered in brake dust by day three. Additionally i noticed they are a tad louder when braking abruptly but its not noticeable if you are not listening for it. Lastly, i am having some occassional squeaking from my left front caliper. I applied a lot of grease but i am thinking most of it came off when i was installing the pad. Hope this helps. 5% of braking performance loss is well worth such little brake dust and the amazing look of my rotors sitting behind my wheels.

I'm glad to hear but I just wanted to be clarify a couple things you've said. Ceramics don't stop well because the compound is harder which is why there is less dust. The Hawk HPS is a proprietary compound that allows for better stopping than ceramics but still offering the least amount of dust possible.

If you had gotten blanks or switch to blanks instead of D/S, you'd stop better than OEM for sure. In terms of stopping power, I'd say

HPS > OEM > Ceramics
