Simple questions that I couldn't find the answers to:

1) Are BFE performance replacement filters rechargeable or single use?
2) Can the non-M series E60's (525/528/530/545/550 non-diesel) with a single airbox, still benefit from the "RPi air-box block off plates", or is this only for M5 model?

-Thanks in advance

I havent heard of BFE, but if you meant BMC then yes those filters are washable and re-usable. since they are fairly cheap though most prefer to buy a new one when it needs replacement, especially since most do not want to risk over-oiling the filter. for the block-off plates, sorry they are only for the M5 and M6.

i think he meant the infamous AFE. Block-off plates are only for M5s. Regular E60s can still benefit from the RPi Scoops and BMC air filter. BMC air filter is the way to go. I suggest purchasing a new one when done so like Nerweezy said, you don't risk over-oiling the filter and damaging the expensive MAF. BMC are widely used in F1 and motorcycles!

Doah! That was supposed to be BMC, not BFE, just messed up my acronyms.

...and I'm up to speed on the AFE cold air intake debate.

Thanks for the responses.
