Quick question on springs..petrol vs. diesel

My Ride: 2005 e60 530d Mystic Blue
Adaptive Bi Xenons, Star Spoke 122 wheels, Comfort seats, M Sport steering wheel, Logic7, Bluetooth phone connection.

Guys!
I had a quick question... are the lowering springs for a diesel different from those that are used on a petrol model? The roads in my country are not that good and I would be going in for M167 wheels.
I was wanting to lower my car (530d) and was wondering which springs to buy (heard Eibach were good for not so good roads). Again, are the springs the same for a diesel and petrol car?

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed

The rears would be compatible, but not the fronts, as the diesel front axle load is higher than the petrol, due to the heavier engine.
Eibach Pro Kit is fine. They are progressivley wound, meaning they are rather comfortable to start with, but the more compression is applied the harder they get. Quite a good combo for ride quality and sportiveness.

So would the Eibach Pro Kit would be compatible with the diesel engined e60? Its the 530d.
olli_535d, since you have the m-sport along with the eibach pro kit, would you be able to tell me the ground clearance from the lowest part of your front bumper to the ground? The are a lot of speed humps in my country and don't really want to catch my nose on them! But I am desperate to drop her down a bit.

I have measured ground to the front right splitter on the bumper.
