I removed the charcoal filter from the intake of my 550i, but accidentally dropped one of the airbox clips way down into the belly of the beast. Anyone know where I can purchase a clip? Tried looking for the part numbers online with no luck.

are you referring to part #3, the box clip tensioner, just bring the part number to the dealer and buy it there since you only need one or you can hold off and wait till you need other parts, then order it online.

I was letting my son help me with a filter change. I warned him about dropping that clip "Dont drop that clip... kinda hard to find it if you do"..... wait 10 seconds..... "umm Dad?"

He spent an hour taking apart the panels on the botton to track it down - we eventually found it and grabed it with a magnetic wand.
