Default Question on Tow hook license plate holder

Hello gents. Unfortunately I now live in a state that requires front license plate. I ordered the tow hook license plate holder. But for some reason it doesn't stay stable. It pivots easily. Also is it normal for it to stick out far? For some reason I was thinking it would b a lil more flush to the car. Also I have these 2 stick on rubber pieces are these to support the bracket from pivoting side to side? I'm thinking it may b Thanks in advance oh one more question. Do u guys have problem throwing off a alert on ure pdc sensor?

one of the ugliest solution for the front plate - it'll get the job done of displaying the front plate but it looks totally out of place and retarded

To each their own.

The brand you buy will dictate how much it sticks out. Mine does not trigger my pdc. It is angled to the angle of my bumper. Some brands offer more adjustment points than others.

As for stability. Use a wrench. Hand cranking = pivot

The do stick out a bit since most are designed to put the plate perpendicular to the front bumper even though the hole is offset to the passenger side of the bumper. Personally I won't get a front plate holder of any kind until I get more fix it ticket fines then $100.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has any thoughts on which tow license plate holders work best.
Curious if people are satisfied with $20 ones of eBay or spent more for other versions.
