OK got the answer to my own question..."yes" they're available and retail for both pieces is about $300.00. Install at my local dealer is about another $100
yes, you can order through your dealer. they are in the accessories brochure. the selector lever is $160, part #: 25 16 0 302 392 (burl walnut wood). other polished woods also available. the brake handle is $145, part #: 34 40 0 302 393 (burl walnut wood). not sure if this one has other polished.
not sure if this is a diy project. my friend changed his m.benz's shift knob himself and said quite easy. i need to change my selector lever, too. i also want to know how difficult will it be. anyone?

Change mine, it is very easy. Just pull with a little force and they pop right off.
1. Pull up on Gear shift with a little more that normal force will pop right off.
2. Pull brake boot off console fold back. Remove from zip tie from brake handle (don't break unless you have one to replace with). Pull brake handle with little more than normal force; it pops right off.

Be sure to shift into neutral before pulling the old shifter off. Also, be careful not to "bonk," youself in the nose when it finally comes off as it does take a bit of force.
