Hey DJ, Is your car a lease or financed? The reason why I am asking is that I noticed that you do some modifications to your car e.g. the installation of the radar detector (by the way if you ever get to New York you have to install one for me ). If your car is a lease wont BMWF be pissed off when you turn it in? Mine is a lease but I am skeptical about doing anything to it because I dont want to get hit with any charges when I return the car.

By the way mine is a 530i black sapphire with black leather, sports package and premium package.

 

Bankerboyz, Yes my car is leased. Well, you take the chance of being charged by BMWFS when the lease is up. So far knock on wood never had a problem with any of my leases and BMW leases. My M3 was somewhat modified, my 330ci was heavily modified (intake, chip,suspension,short throw, pullies, front and rear bumpers, wheels, etc). The trick is to keep your OEM parts and be a bit handy. I installed and removed my old suspension. Someone wanted my new bumpers and sideskirts so I took them off and switched with someone of the same color, etc. Both cars went back to BMWFS a few weeks later I recevied a letter for Lease charges of ZERO
I baby my car (Zaion was, leather care and park next to curbs or far away) and is always garage kept.

I have no other major mods yet. My interior looks like anyone else besides the integrated radar detector. Search the forum for Radar det

Actually mycar in the outside shows identical to gonzo40 but with just tinted windows.
