My cousin is planning to sell his E39 and get either an '07 or '08 550. He currently has a set of matte black 19' CSL rep on his E39, either by Miro or VMR. He doesn't know. Anyway, he asked me about fitting it to the E60 since I own one. I know the center bore is different which can be solved by the hub rings, 74.1 to 72.56. What am not sure is the offset. From what I read online, the offset for the E39 and E60 is very similar (medium range) so I assume it will fit with the hub rings. Am I correct with this assumption?

Also, is there a spacer with built in hub rings, meaning that 74.1 on one end and 72.56 on the other end since he's planning to push his CSL out a bit more, around 12 to 15 mm. I'm not very familiar with spacer, never had one so I rather not give him any opinion until I know more about it.

Please chime in!!!

Thanks

currently I have e39 M5 wheels on m y e60 and the fitment is near perfect. I use hubcentric rings to deal with the bore size, no issues at all. They do make spacers that deal with different hub sizes as well, might need a vendor to chime in about those.
