I am wanting to buy some bulbs for my foglights on my 545i I have seen where stream put some piaa bulbs in on his car and they looked good.

The problem is that I am getting very confused on what piaa bulbs to buy there are tons of them and I do not understand which ones are the right ones because there are so many can someone post a links to where I can buy some bulbs for my foglights to match my xenons closely?

Thanks

Get PIAA 4700K H-259 -- there's a seller on ebay selling them for 65 bucks -- I just bought a pair today infact.

My Ride: '05 545i, silver gray, black leather with anthracite maple wood, sport package, premium sound, navigation, cold weather package, electric rear sunshade, folding rear seat, satellite radio prep, PIAA 4150K fogs, red rear reflectors, hardwired Valentine One
Default

The E60 xenons are 4200K, and I found that the PIAA 4150K fogs matched better than their 4700K fogs (which looked to blueish vs. the xenons). I wasn't able to find a store that sold the PIAA 4150K bulbs, but did find them on eBay. Here's a thread with info & pix:

The E60 fog bulbs are HB4 (also called 9006). The ones I got also fit HB3 (9005) by changing a washer. The various PIAA brand names have to do with the different color of the light.

Those are the 4700K bulbs -- the ones I bought earlier today myself. I was debating between the 4700K and 4150K. There's comparison pictures of both here and neither look blue .. just normal white light. I emailed the seller and they told me the 4700K's are 20% brighter so that sealed the deal for me. I think though either one you pick you won't notice much difference. The 4700K's seem to be readily available with the other ones are harder to find.

Another option is the Xenesis Builbs - available from www.bimmian.com

They match very good.
