Something new arrived today again...
The parts are in the paintshop now. Hoping to get the bumpers back home at Friday so that I can install them

Antti I admire what you're doing to this car and even more the fact that you're doing 95% of this yourself! I bet that's a steep learning curve and requires tons of hard work and proper dedication. It's absolutely worth it - the transformation of this car is nothing short of astonishing!
I am very very very (did I say "very" enough times?) interested to learn how the car behaves with the Quaife LSD on SNOW.
I have been considering this upgrade on my car mostly for snowy/slippery conditions for quite some time now. I have read some varying opinions on the effect of a Quaife LSD on snow, however mostly from UK owners, who unfortunately don't have that much experience in actual snow (and what's more important with proper snow tyres!!), or from drivers of gasoline E60's, which have quite different torque curve than our diesels. Therefore, you will be the first one to be able to report what I'd like to know - how does the Quaife change the behaviour of a 530d in the frozen white stuff...
I will be watching the weather forecasts for Finland pretty closely, and will remind you about this very important question at the very first opportunity. (and a big "thank you" in advance!)

Hey, sure I'll report about it! Just remind me!
Thanks for the compliments too.
Yes, I try to do as much myself as possible. I've learnt a lot, and there have been times when I really needed to gather lots of courage to grab the bull by the horns. But it's been worth it!
