X2 on where you got the LSD and what gear ratio will you be running? How much was the LSD?

I still can't believe our cars aren't equipped with LSD's ..... retarded

Performing Imports ordered it for me from Koala Motorsports.

I will be running the 3.46. Performing Imports and Koala did the calculations for what I am looking to achieve and it will work perfect. 15+% torque increase. Should be a rocket 0-60 with Dinan Stage 3 and lightweight flywheel and clutch and UUC short shifter. Should jump the RPMs roughly 500 and still give me good top end. You'll want to go through the numbers with Koala based on your desired outcome before ordering. (numbers I am quoting here are NOT exact. I am currently at beach on vacation and can't remember exactly)

I can't remember the exact price either. It was around $3500-$3900 plus install. It should be here in next week or two. All other parts except short shifter are installed. It will go on at same time as diff. I will post results after all is complete and I beat the heck out of it.

Agreed on it not being installed form factory. I guess BMW just does this on M cars to distinguish their performance a bit more. It should at least be an option.

What gear ratio is it stock? will you have to remap to correct the speedometer and other parameters that change with steeper gears?
